OSHA Training Institute Education Center (OTIEC)

The OSHA Training Institute Education Center at Chabot-Las Positas Community College District has been authorized by OSHA since 2008 to deliver occupational safety and health training on behalf of Federal OSHA and Cal/OSHA. The OTIEC delivers safety courses for Construction, Maritime, Disaster Site and General Industry. Learn more

Tri-Valley Career Center

The Tri-Valley Career Center offers comprehensive employment resources, serving regional businesses and individual job seekers in Alameda County and throughout the Bay Area. Services include individual counseling, workshops, job fairs, as well as tax preparation for low-income families. Our mission is to empower job seekers, businesses and our communities to thrive. The ‘earn and learn’ model is an important part of California’s economic development. Our team supports interested individuals and employers with resources and guidance to take advantage of apprenticeship opportunities. We work directly with interested organizations – from within the traditional trades, as well as a variety of non-trade industries – to develop a highly-skilled workforce. Learn more

Child Welfare Training

Our Child Welfare Training Program provides training to increase the skills and capacity of those who work directly with foster and adoptive care children and youth. We enable social service agencies to upskill their workers and community-based organizations staff without impacting their local budget. In 2021 alone, over 50,000 attendees utilized trainings on a variety of skill-building topics. Learn more

We work with businesses and organizations to design and deliver a wide range of customized employee development courses, including manager and supervisor training, leadership development and skills upgrade training. Learn more
